PALACE ICE RINK GRAND OPENING set for November 30, 2009. 11/25/2009 4:51 PM  The grand opening of a new refrigerated ice rink at the Palace Recreation Center is planned for Monday, November 30. The public is invited to attend the event, set for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the center, located at 781 Palace Ave. in St. Paul. Join the festivities and skate along with St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, members of the U.S. Women's National Hockey Team and the St. Paul Figure Skating Club, and with "Goldy Gopher" from the University of Minnesota. Figure skating club members also will put on an exhibition and St. Paul City Council Member Dave Thune will be on hand, too. |
